Set in the wilds of Papua New Guinea in the 1970s and later in the mangroves surrounding Savages Island on the Queensland, Australian coast, KISSED BY A CROC is the life story of Australian crocodile farmer, John Lever.  A man of boundless energy and enthusiasm, never straying from a challenge, John is entwined by a python, confronts a crazed cassowary and wrestles with an unrestrained croc at 4,000 feet.  He packs in enough adventures and challenges for two lifetimes as he endeavours to practice Conservation Through Commerce by farming this 180 million year old  reptile.

1 JULY 2014:  FIRST BOOK REVIEW BY WRITER AND ARTIST VERONIKA ZEIL OF ROCKHAMPTON, AUSTRALIA:  I made the big mistake of starting the book one morning while making breakfast for the kids. Well, I couldn’t put the bloody thing down! The coffee went cold, the porridge burnt and the kids had to toddle off to the bus while I was still caught up in the book!
