Engaged by the Scott’s daughter to record the life of her parents for the benefit of the grandchildren, I will always remember the boisterous energy of this family, gathering together for the Scott’s wedding anniversary: the smiles and laughter of grandparents delighting in their grandchildren. Originating from the Scotts of Hornet Bank Station near Taroom and from the Rolleston district, this family’s life has always been immersed in the cattle industry, most recently as stock and station agents.  Archival photos evoke an era almost lost to memory, a world away from life today.
